This role focuses on maintaining and repairing critical control systems and electrical equipment within a complex industrial facility. The technician will perform highly skilled work involving inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal of electronic and electrical equipment and systems. Experience with multi-faceted maintenance within a demanding operational environment is highly valued. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complex control systems, including troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, tuning, and replacing sophisticated equipment and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical maintenance challenges, encompassing switchgear, motors, breakers, and facility wiring.
  • Conduct analysis and troubleshooting on advanced control systems.
  • Maintain all instrumentation and electrical test equipment.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive calibration program.
  • Support inventory management for critical spare parts.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of technical documentation and maintenance records.
  • Assist with equipment and systems operation as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Maintain specialized control systems and related equipment.
  • Complete required training and qualification programs.
  • Respond effectively to operational situations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a demanding operational environment or equivalent military experience.
  • Proficiency with advanced electronic test equipment and precision instruments.
  • Extensive technical training in instrumentation and controls.
  • Experience with specific advanced control systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and standard software.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, walking, bending, and working around equipment.
