Top-tier renewable energy company is seeking a dedicated Traveling Safety Specialist. This role is perfect for an individual with 2+ years of safety experience, ideally within utilities, oil & gas, or electrical environments. The Safety Specialist will support health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring a safe work environment across the company’s operations. Wind farm experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at various facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training sessions for employees and contractors, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and equipment operation.
• Investigate and document safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Maintain and analyze safety data, preparing reports on safety performance metrics and identifying trends for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a safety-focused role within utilities, oil & gas, electrical, or related industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage team members on safety protocols.
• Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
