We are seeking an experienced Commissioning and Owner Integration Specialist to support commissioning and asset integration efforts. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the readiness of EPC contractors for commissioning, asset integration, and handover processes. You will also be responsible for training, reviewing O&M manuals, and managing various aspects of the commissioning process. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for creating and improving processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning Support: Collaborate with EPC contractors to ensure the successful and timely completion of commissioning activities. Review systems and ensure they meet required standards for turnover to the owner.
• Punch List Management: Lead the punch list process, ensuring that all items are tracked, resolved, and completed before final acceptance.
• Team Coordination: Organize and direct the commissioning team, providing guidance on which systems to assess, prioritize, and address during the commissioning process.
• System Readiness Reporting: Assess system status and provide regular reports on the readiness for turnover to the client. Ensure that all systems meet the necessary criteria for operational handover.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Develop, update, and improve commissioning processes and documentation. Ensure proper documentation is in place, including Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, for a smooth transition to the client.
• Training: Provide training to internal teams and contractors as required to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operations.
• Technology Proficiency: Utilize advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, to track and report on progress, manage data, and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commissioning and asset integration, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of the commissioning process, punch list management, and asset turnover.
• Ability to organize and lead a team, setting clear direction and prioritizing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to report clearly on system status and readiness.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer-based tools.
• Experience in building and improving processes and creating detailed documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. or relevant experience
• Certifications related to commissioning or asset integration are a plus.

The pay range for this role is $60-70/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
