Summary
Per Se Group has a great new job opportunity for a CNC Laser Operator with our reputable client. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts safely, efficiently, and productively. This position is a contract to hire, second shift position, with a weekly schedule of 40 hours from Monday through Thursday. You will be working with a well-established company in industrial manufacturing with great opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and prepared for work each day.

• Operate CNC burn machines to produce quality parts efficiently.

• Properly complete all required paperwork.

• Obtain new part approval before full production.

• Read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and squares accurately.

• Assist in clearing cut parts from the table.

• Maintain a clean and functional machine, including torches.

Authority:

• Determine if parts meet specifications and require recutting.

• Ensure the machine and torches are clean, level, and in proper working condition.

Performance Metrics:

• Maintain a nonconformance rate of less than 2%.

• Meet performance expectations as outlined in company evaluations.

• Maintain good attendance.

Job Requirements:

Education, Training, and Experience:

• Basic math skills.

• Some computer knowledge.

• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to varying temperatures based on seasons.

• Noisy work environment.

• Requires heavy lifting.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Schedule:

2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM

The pay range for this role is $20-$23/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
