Summary
As a Document Control Coordinator, you will review engineering documents, manage time sheets and billings, and verify document transmits and work orders. As an important part of the document control team, your strong attention to detail and knowledge of engineering or construction documents will fulfill a critical need for a company in the oil and gas industry. You will work as a contractor to advance our client’s mission of reconstructing parts of the facility to ensure safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage the control of drawings and technical & non-technical documents stored in Document Management System DM- Tech Docs/HDMS, JPI & SharePoint.
- Assist in training new users on information management software/ Management System and Document Control Processes & Standards.
- Write and maintain work instructions for Document Management activities as required
- Review and quality check incoming drawings packages to ensure all required drawings/technical documents are received contain accurate information and are checked-in to DM-Tech Docs.
- Maintain control of master copies of drawings, redlines and technical document issued to internal/external users during Construction Phase
Preferred Skills and Expertise
- 5 years of previous experience with the management of document/ records management program
- Knowledge of information management systems, such as Livelink, SharePoint, Aconex
- Previous knowledge and working experience of computer software, such as Microsoft Office
(i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, etc.) and Adobe Programs, (blue beam experience in the Oil & Gas Industry) - Proficiency in identifying Engineering Drawing document types
