Summary
Per Se Group is looking for a knowledgeable station shift supervisor to assist at our clients power plant! The shift supervisor will assume overall operational management and responsibility for an operational shift. This person will supervise and direct personnel in the conduct of required work activities, operate the units safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner. 

Responsibilities
  • Monitors operating conditions, diagnoses problem areas and initiates corrective action where necessary. 
  • Develops emergency procedures to correct abnormal conditions.
  • Actively participates in performance management activities for staff assigned, as well as promotion, discipline and training of employees. 
  • Responsible for initiating work request which describe equipment failures and observances and document such observances via the Infor EAM System – communicates as required with Maintenance, Engineering and Environmental Coordinator.
Preferred Skills and Expertise
  • Ability to work overnights (Thursday-Sunday, 5pm-5am).
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline combined with 2 years of operations experience at a utility level power plant. 
  • In lieu of degree, must have a High School Diploma combined with 6 years of operations experience at a utility level power plant.
  • Understands the processes, systems, operations, equipment, resources, key personnel, and business functions of a Power Plant
  • Experience with cycle chemistry and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulations as they apply to Power Generation.
