Most maintenance planning jobs inherit someone else’s system.

This one lets you build it.

If you’ve worked in SAP Plant Maintenance and know the difference between simply scheduling work and creating the maintenance strategy that drives it, you’ll have the opportunity to help onboard new power generation facilities into SAP S/4 HANA and build maintenance programs that keep critical assets running for years to come.

You’ll be the person making sure the right PMs exist, the right maintenance plans are built, and the right work orders generate when they’re supposed to – not after equipment fails.

What you’ll be doing is leading the onboarding of new facilities into SAP S/4 HANA by creating Maintenance Items, Maintenance Plans, Bills of Materials, equipment hierarchies, and workflows that support long-term reliability. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Technical Services to develop preventive maintenance programs, improve planning processes, configure annual maintenance plans, analyze maintenance performance, and recommend improvements across a growing fleet of renewable energy facilities. You’ll also build custom SAP variants, support engineering changes, maintain data integrity, and help standardize maintenance best practices across multiple sites.

What you get is a remote contract supporting one of the country’s leading renewable energy operators, with $60-$70/hour, limited travel (approximately 5-10%), and the opportunity to influence how new wind, solar, and battery storage facilities are managed from day one. Rather than simply maintaining an existing system, you’ll help shape the foundation of a growing enterprise maintenance program.

Who you are is someone who understands maintenance planning – not just scheduling. You’ve built preventive maintenance programs in SAP S/4 HANA (or a comparable EAM platform), created Maintenance Plans and Maintenance Items, and understand how mechanical and electrical assets should be maintained in a power generation, utility, or heavy industrial environment. You’re comfortable working independently, solving problems before they become failures, and using data to improve reliability.

Want to know more about the implementation, the team, or what they’re building before making any decisions? Let’s talk.
