You know HR is rarely just HR.

One day you’re dealing with employee data. The next, you’re untangling a lifecycle process, working through a ServiceNow issue, reviewing compensation strategy, or figuring out how a policy needs to change. If you like being the person who brings order to complicated HR processes, this could be a good next move.

What you’ll do

You’ll step into a contract HR Advisor role supporting site and regional HR needs, with plenty of opportunity to improve how things work – not simply keep them running.

• Maintain accurate employee and HR data across Workday, ADP, and related systems
• Review and improve job descriptions and employee lifecycle processes
• Help standardize processes around hiring, transfers, reorganizations, resignations, and retirements
• Triage and resolve HR-related ServiceNow tickets
• Support position management, selection, and compensation strategies
• Update HR policies to keep them aligned with legislation and company practices
• Partner across HR functions as needs arise

What you get

This is a 40-hour-per-week contract running approximately one year, paying $40–$48/hour. The role can be based in Lima or Columbus, Ohio, with remote work possible for the right person.

You’ll get exposure to a broad range of HR work rather than being boxed into one narrow specialty.

Who you are

You’re organized without needing someone to organize you. You can juggle competing priorities, communicate clearly, and move quickly when something needs to get done. You have 3+ years of direct HR experience, experience with HCM/payroll systems, and the analytical judgment to contribute to decisions – not just execute them.
