Solar Procurement Associate
Remote | $60–$70/hour
Know the solar module market—and ready to put that knowledge to work across a major utility-scale project portfolio?
Per Sé Group is seeking a Solar Procurement Associate to support equipment sourcing and commercial contracting across a portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
This is a hands-on procurement role working directly with suppliers and cross-functional project teams to take solar equipment purchases from RFQ and commercial evaluation through negotiation, contracting, manufacturing, and delivery.
If solar modules, OEMs, supply agreements, RFQs, commercial negotiations, and equipment logistics are already part of your world, we should talk.
What You’ll Do
-
Support procurement of solar equipment for utility-scale renewable projects, with an emphasis on photovoltaic modules.
-
Develop and execute equipment sourcing and procurement strategies.
-
Coordinate competitive RFQ/RFP processes, supplier communications, proposal collection, and commercial evaluation.
-
Evaluate proposals across pricing, commercial terms, delivery requirements, schedule, and project risk.
-
Develop bid comparisons and commercial analyses to support supplier selection and award recommendations.
-
Participate in commercial negotiations with solar equipment suppliers and OEMs.
-
Support the review, redlining, negotiation, and execution of equipment supply agreements.
-
Partner with Legal, Engineering, Development, Construction, and Finance to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
-
Coordinate with suppliers on manufacturing schedules, equipment availability, delivery requirements, and project logistics.
-
Track supplier commitments, contract requirements, approvals, and deliverables.
-
Monitor supplier performance and identify potential commercial, schedule, logistics, and supply-chain risks.
-
Stay current on solar module pricing, supplier capacity, technology developments, and market conditions.
-
Support multiple project procurement workstreams simultaneously.
What You’ll Bring
-
Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contracts, or commercial management.
-
Experience supporting RFQ/RFP processes and evaluating commercial proposals.
-
Experience working directly with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, or OEMs.
-
Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial terms and supply agreements.
-
Strong understanding of pricing, contractual requirements, delivery schedules, and commercial risk.
-
Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work effectively across Legal, Engineering, Development, Construction, Finance, and other project stakeholders.
-
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities in a fast-paced, remote project environment.
Even Better If You Have
-
Direct solar module procurement experience, including sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracting, and/or delivery and logistics.
-
Utility-scale solar or renewable energy procurement experience.
-
Experience negotiating equipment supply agreements with solar manufacturers/OEMs.
-
Experience coordinating solar equipment manufacturing, delivery, and project logistics.
-
Broader renewable energy or large capital-project procurement experience.
If you know how to turn supplier proposals into commercially sound equipment decisions—and want to help shape procurement across a growing utility-scale solar portfolio—we should talk.
