Candidates MUST have high-voltage experience (66kV to 500kV). They should have substation and/or transmission line projects in their project list.
This is a Nuclear generation project, so the candidate needs to be someone comfortable in a switchyard and a nuclear control room. On the grid side, they exclusively work in switch yards, so it’s hard to find someone with both grid and nuclear experience.
They need more of a commissioning person than a pure CM. It’s more like a Commissioning Lead Engineer that has had some construction experience that has an understanding of a nuclear control room, or a rare CM that knows commissioning and engineering. This type of candidate will likely have an engineering degree – not a requirement, but given the skill set required, someone with this background will likely have one.
