Summary
Per Sé Group is hiring a Turnaround Fixed Equipment Engineer for a long term contract position in Corpus Christi, TX. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and readiness of mechanical fixed assets including piping, pressure vessels, and exchangers
 
As a Fixed Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for pre turnaround work, walk down’s and assessments and developing review of repair packages.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and review of piping and pressure vessel repair packages
  • Participate in TA work scope planning and risk assessments
  • Provide engineering support during TA execution, including field walkdowns and technical troubleshooting
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and internal QA/QC requirements
  • Coordinate with inspectors, planners, and contractors to deliver work scopes safely, on time, and within budget

Preferred Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical/fixed equipment engineering within refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities
  • Strong understanding of API 510/570, ASME codes, and piping/pres. vessel maintenance practices
  • Experience in TA or outage support roles, preferably within Crude Units or similar high-complexity areas
  • Excellent communication, field coordination, and documentation skills

The pay range for this role is $65-70/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
