Job Title: Deburring Technician

Summary

Per Se Group is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Deburring Technician to support manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined or fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality, safety, and finish standards. The Deburring Technician plays a vital role in maintaining product consistency and overall production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts for burrs, rough edges, and surface imperfections.

  • Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, and deburring knives to smooth and finish parts.

  • Operate mechanical deburring equipment, including tumblers and vibratory finishers.

  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.

  • Record work progress and inspection results accurately.

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Skills and Expertise

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or metal finishing environments is a plus.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical drawings.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools and basic quality control practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

 

The pay range for this role is $18. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire and schedule type).
