SUMMARY
A highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Project Coordinator to support our project management team in the execution and delivery of commercial construction projects. The Construction Coordinator provides essential support to our Project Manager for new construction. A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively. A background in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Directly assist project managers in the planning and coordination of commercial construction projects.
· Maintain project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules.
· Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project components.
· Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and all project-related correspondence. You’ll also be a key communicator with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support procurement and logistics.
· Track budgets, monitor expenditures, and help prepare financial reports.
· Accurately process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports related to project costs.
· Schedule and document project meetings; distribute meeting minutes.
· Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Help gather and submit permit applications.
· Help manage project close-out documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role in the commercial construction or mechanical services industry.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with project management tools.
· Exceptional Organization: Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with all stakeholders.
· Adaptability: The ability to multitask, prioritize your workload efficiently, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
· High school diploma or equivalent is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Must be able to lift objects weighing 20 lbs. or less
· Work primarily consists of sitting for long periods of time
· Work primarily consists working on a computer for long periods of time
The pay range for this role is $[$25-$35]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
