Summary
Per Se Group is looking for a seasoned safety professional to join our operations team as a Safety Manager. As a trusted partner to our client’s crews, you’ll champion a “safe production” mindset, coaching and problem-solving to ensure seamless daily operations. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with supervision and craft to plan and execute daily work, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
* Develop and implement effective safety protocols, including SSSP, JHAs/JSAs, orientations, and toolbox talks.
* Oversee high-risk wind tasks, such as working at heights, rescue readiness, crane & rigging/lift plans, and electrical/mechanical LOTO.
* Establish and maintain exclusion zones, road and pad controls, and traffic plans during disassembly and hauling.
* Track key safety indicators, drive corrective actions, and report progress to site leadership.
* Coordinate incident response, root-cause analysis, and practical corrective actions.
* Support environmental compliance, including spill kits, waste streams, and required permits.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders through consistent communication and fair expectations.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of construction/industrial safety experience, with some wind experience (decom/repower/O&M) or experience in oil & gas construction.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a proven ability to influence outcomes.
* Demonstrated knowledge of fall protection/rescue, LOTO, and crane/rigging fundamentals.
* OSHA 30 (Construction) and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications required; GWO BST/Working at Heights certification preferred.
* Proficiency with basic reporting tools (Microsoft 365 or similar) and simple data tracking.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors and climb as needed.
The pay range for this role is $60/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire and schedule type).
