Summary
The Construction Project Manager will oversee a 500MW gas plant upgrade. Reporting to the SVP of Construction, this role manages budgets, schedules, risk, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams while serving as the primary corporate representative to clients, contractors, and permitting agencies.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction from inception through closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost forecasts.
• Oversee subcontractor negotiations, change management, and document control.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and electrical codes.
• Conduct risk reviews, audits, and client meetings.
• Supervise internal staff, contractors, and construction managers.
• Coordinate with EPC contractor, plant operators, and cross-functional teams.
• Travel 25–50% as required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; bachelor’s in engineering or construction management preferred.
• 5+ years of project management, with 3–5 years in conventional power plants.
• Experience with EPC contracts, subcontracts, and large-scale energy projects.
• Strong technical, supervisory, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with construction/electrical codes and cost forecasting.

The pay range for this role is $60-75/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
