Summary 
Per Se Group is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team at a metal recycling facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stick rod and MIG welding, build-up welding, and general repair of heavy equipment and machinery. This role requires attention to safety, precision, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities 

• Perform stick rod (SMAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel and machinery parts.
• Conduct build-up welding to reinforce or restore worn metal surfaces.
• Repair and fabricate components for machinery and plant equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Operate cutting torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools as needed. 

Preferred Skills and Expertise 

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience (structural, MIG, and stick rod).
• Proven ability to perform build-up welding and repair on heavy machinery parts.
• Knowledge of safe welding practices in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in hot, dusty, or noisy conditions typical of a recycling plant.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.

The pay range for this role is $32/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
