You already know construction. Now you need the responsibility and exposure that turns that experience into a Project Manager career.

This isn’t a PE role where you spend your days updating logs and chasing paperwork. You’ll work alongside experienced PMs and Superintendents and get involved in how the entire project gets planned, bought out, built, and delivered.

What you’ll do

You’ll support projects from preconstruction through closeout while gradually taking on more responsibility.

  • Help manage schedules, costs, commitments, documentation, and project milestones
  • Work through subcontractor procurement, scope review, buyout, and change orders
  • Track RFIs, submittals, long-lead materials, and procurement
  • Review drawings and specifications for coordination and constructability issues
  • Work directly with the Superintendent in the field to connect office decisions to what actually gets built
  • Participate in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover
  • Use Procore and other construction technology to keep the project moving

What you get

You’ll get exposure to the full project lifecycle – preconstruction, estimating, buyout, scheduling, cost control, change management, MEP coordination, field operations, and closeout.

The work spans commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, technology, and mission-critical projects throughout the Southeast, so you’re building experience you can carry forward rather than getting pigeonholed into one type of work.

The salary range is $60K–$75K, and the career path is straightforward:

Project Engineer ? Assistant Project Manager ? Project Manager ? Senior Project Manager

You’d also be joining an employee-owned organization, where the people working on the projects have a genuine stake in the success of the business.

Who you are

You’ve got roughly 2–5+ years of construction experience and you’re ready for more ownership. You can read drawings, understand scopes and schedules, communicate with subcontractors, and keep track of details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Most importantly, you’re hungry to become a PM and want someone to give you the exposure to actually get there.

Want to know what projects you’d be stepping into? Reach out and I’ll give you the details before you decide if it’s worth a conversation.
