Safety Manager | “Still want to be in the field?”

You know the difference between managing safety and managing paperwork. This role is for the Safety Manager who’d rather be on the jobsite, working with mechanical crews and field leadership to solve problems before they become incidents.

You’ll be supporting large-scale data center and mission-critical mechanical construction projects across the country. Think HVAC, piping, sheet metal, equipment installation, rigging, commissioning, and the high-risk work that comes with getting these systems built and running.

You’ll spend your time walking active jobsites, spotting hazards, and working directly with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and trades to find a safe way to get the work done. You’ll lead JHAs/JSAs, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, inspections, audits, orientations, and safety meetings. You’ll monitor work involving LOTO, confined space, fall protection, hot work, rigging, elevated work, energized work, excavation, and heavy equipment. When something goes wrong, you’ll help investigate the cause and make sure the fix actually sticks.

You’ll get a full-time opportunity with projects in the mission-critical space, $85K–$110K in base salary, and the chance to build your experience around some of the most complex mechanical construction happening in the country. This is a 75–100% traveling role, so it makes sense for someone who actually wants a national project footprint rather than someone looking for a local site.

You’re the person who knows mechanical construction, can talk shop with the trades, and isn’t afraid to speak up when something isn’t right. Five-plus years of construction safety experience and strong HVAC and/or piping exposure are important. OSHA 30 and safety credentials such as CHST, STS, or CSP are valuable, but credibility in the field matters most.
