You know the difference between watching a schedule and making a schedule happen. On these projects, mechanical work is on the critical path and you’re the person in the field making sure crews, materials, subcontractors, and other trades stay aligned.

What you’ll do: You’ll lead day-to-day mechanical construction on large-scale data center projects, owning the field execution from installation through commissioning.

  • Run HVAC and mechanical piping operations, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, ductwork, and hydronic systems.
  • Lead foremen, craft labor, mechanical subcontractors, and specialty contractors in the field.
  • Drive critical-path work and keep aggressive project milestones on track.
  • Coordinate mechanical installation with electrical, plumbing, structural, controls, and other MEP trades.
  • Catch constructability issues, material problems, and field conflicts before they become schedule problems.
  • Own manpower, productivity, material deliveries, daily priorities, QA/QC, and field documentation.
  • Help take systems through testing, startup, commissioning, punch list, and turnover.

What you get: $130K–$150K, plus the opportunity to work on high-profile mission-critical projects and get your hands on some of the most sophisticated mechanical infrastructure being built today. You’ll see large chilled-water systems, complex piping, and cooling infrastructure operating in facilities where uptime matters.

Who you are: You’re a field-first mechanical construction leader. You know HVAC and piping because you’ve been around the work, not just the paperwork. You can read drawings, make decisions in the field, lead subcontractors without creating unnecessary drama, and keep people focused when the schedule gets tight.

You bring 5+ years of mechanical construction experience, ideally with superintendent-level responsibility, and you’re willing to travel extensively across the U.S.

The opportunity: If you’re ready to lead major mechanical scopes instead of simply managing someone else’s checklist, this puts you in the middle of the action.
