Data centers don’t leave much room for “we’ll figure it out later.” The mechanical systems have to work, the schedule has to hold, and someone has to own the details from preconstruction through commissioning.

What you’ll do: You’ll take ownership of major HVAC and mechanical piping projects in mission-critical environments, working closely with the field and client teams to keep the job moving.

  • Own project budgets, schedules, scope, procurement, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage major mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, chilled-water systems, pumps, hydronics, ductwork, and piping.
  • Work side-by-side with Superintendents, Foremen, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and owners.
  • Keep RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, long-lead equipment, and project documentation moving.
  • Build and manage schedules, manpower plans, installation sequencing, and critical-path activities.
  • Track project costs, forecasts, labor projections, buyouts, and overall financial performance.
  • Drive QA/QC, testing, startup, commissioning, punch list, and turnover through the finish line.

What you get: A $110K–$135K base salary and the chance to work on technically demanding mechanical construction where your decisions have a direct impact on whether the project succeeds. You’ll be in the middle of the coordination, not watching from the sidelines and you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your experience in data center and mission-critical construction.

Who you are: You know mechanical construction beyond the paperwork. You understand HVAC, piping, drawings, sequencing, budgets, schedules, and what it takes to coordinate office and field teams. You’re organized without getting buried in details, comfortable owning the numbers, and technically strong enough to challenge a bad assumption before it becomes an expensive problem.

You bring 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience and are willing to travel as project needs require. Data center or other highly technical construction experience is valuable.

About the opportunity: You’ll join a mechanical construction team working on large-scale, mission-critical projects where mechanical systems are central to the job, not an afterthought.

Curious? Reach out and I’ll give you the details before you decide whether it’s worth a conversation.
