Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Planner | If you’re the one everyone depends on to have the job planned before the first wrench turns…keep reading.

If terms like SAP PM, preventive maintenance, work packages, instrumentation troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, cost estimating, and refinery turnarounds are already part of your world, we should talk.

If you’re in the right career, but the wrong environment, this is your opportunity.

As the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Planner, you’ll build the work plans that keep refinery maintenance running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll coordinate labor, materials, contractors, equipment, and costs while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Scheduling to maximize plant reliability.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Plan and coordinate electrical and instrumentation maintenance work from request through execution.
  • Develop detailed work packages including labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and safety requirements.
  • Estimate costs and manage work order budgets.
  • Coordinate material procurement and outside services.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Scheduling to optimize maintenance execution.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and support daily/weekly scheduling.
  • Ensure all work complies with refinery safety standards, company policies, and COIMS requirements.
  • Bring 5+ years of instrumentation field experience with strong electrical maintenance knowledge.
  • Utilize SAP (or similar CMMS) and Microsoft Office; MS Project or Primavera experience is a plus.
  • Previous refinery experience, maintenance planning, supervisory experience, Journeyman certification, or an Associate’s degree are all valued.

If you’re the planner who enjoys solving problems before they happen and wants to play a critical role in refinery reliability and safety, we’d like to talk.
