If you’ve built power plants, you know the mechanical work only goes as smoothly as the coordination behind it.
We’re looking for someone who can keep contractors moving, solve problems before they become delays, and make sure major mechanical work—from turbines and vessels to structural steel and piping—is installed safely, correctly, and on schedule. This is a long-term opportunity supporting a major power generation project where your experience will make a visible impact every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate mechanical construction activities across the project site.
- Oversee contractor work involving turbines, piping, pressure vessels, structural steel, and other mechanical systems.
- Work alongside engineering, EPC partners, and field leadership to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
- Monitor schedule, quality, and productivity while helping remove obstacles before they affect the project.
- Verify installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality expectations.
- Participate in inspections, turnover activities, and project documentation.
- Help deliver a successful project while maintaining a strong safety culture.
What you get
- $75/hour
- Approximately 50-hour work weeks
- Long-term assignment with a project expected to run for years
- Opportunity to work on a major power generation project
- Be part of the owner-side team helping drive construction instead of just observing it
Who you are
You’re someone who has earned credibility in the field. You understand how mechanical construction comes together on large industrial projects and can communicate with contractors, engineers, and project leadership alike. You know how to keep work moving without sacrificing safety or quality.
Experience overseeing mechanical construction on power generation projects is required. Combined cycle, simple cycle, or coal plant experience is especially valuable, along with EPC construction oversight and turnover experience.
Curious?
If you’d like to know more about the project, the team, or what day-to-day looks like before making any decisions, let’s have a conversation.
