Not every procurement role puts you in the room where projects get decided.
This one does.
You’ll support negotiations on utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars, working alongside experienced procurement leaders while helping evaluate bids, manage EPC contracts, and keep some of the country’s largest renewable energy projects moving.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support negotiations for EPC contracts ranging from $25M to $200M+
- Coordinate competitive RFx processes across roughly a dozen active projects
- Analyze contractor proposals and identify commercial risks and cost drivers
- Build bid comparisons and negotiation models using Excel
- Work directly with Development, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams
- Support purchase orders, contract exhibits, and ongoing contract administration
- Track market conditions, tariffs, and supplier trends that impact project costs
- Help strengthen relationships with major EPC contractors across renewable energy
What you get:
- $55-$65/hour
- Hybrid schedule (currently 2 days in-office, moving to 3 after Labor Day)
- Exposure to utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects
- Learn directly from experienced EPC procurement professionals while building toward leading negotiations yourself
- Two-interview hiring process
- Contract through year-end with an immediate business need
Who you are:
You’re already comfortable sitting at the negotiation table, even if you haven’t been leading it yet. Maybe you’ve supported EPC contracts, sourced major construction packages, or worked on utility or substation projects. You understand contract language, can keep multiple stakeholders aligned, and enjoy finding the commercial details that others miss.
Experience supporting EPC negotiations over $25M is required. Renewable energy experience is a plus, but strong construction sourcing or utility infrastructure experience also translates well.
