You know what good site safety looks like. The difference here is that you’re not buried in paperwork or trying to run someone else’s EPC operation. You’ll be the owner-side safety voice on a utility-scale renewable energy project, walking the site, spotting risk, challenging unsafe conditions, and helping the project team keep things moving safely.

You’ll spend your days in the field, not behind a desk where you will:

  • Walk active construction areas and identify hazards before they become incidents.
  • Review contractor safety performance, observations, corrective actions, and required reporting.
  • Work alongside the EPC safety team to address concerns without taking over their operation.
  • Lead safety conversations, training, audits, and daily site safety discussions.
  • Support incident investigations, root-cause reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Review safety trends and turn what you’re seeing in the field into practical improvements.
  • Help coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and site readiness.

What you get is a long-term project assignment through September 2027, paying $50–$60/hour, with $160/day per diem for eligible travel. The schedule is approximately 50 hours/week, and for qualifying travelers, you’ll rotate home every four weeks with travel support and mobilization/demobilization benefits.

You’re probably a fit if you’ve spent at least five years in onsite EH&S, ideally around renewable energy or major construction. You know OSHA requirements cold, but you’re also the person who can walk into a field conversation, earn credibility with contractors, and get people to actually listen. OSHA 30 is required, along with a CHST or CSP.

Curious about the site and rotation? Reach out. I’ll tell you what the project looks like and you can decide if it’s worth a conversation.
