You’ve spent years watching mechanical construction come together. You know when a piping installation looks right, when a schedule doesn’t match what’s happening in the field, and when a small issue today could become a major startup problem tomorrow.

Now imagine being the person the Owner counts on to catch those things.

Per Sé Group is looking for an experienced Mechanical Coordinator / Owner’s Representative to oversee EPC mechanical construction activities on major power-generation projects in the Oklahoma City area.

This is a field-first role where your mechanical knowledge, judgment, and ability to work with contractors will make a difference.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Walk the site daily, overseeing mechanical installation of piping, pumps, valves, vessels, and balance-of-plant equipment.
  • Monitor EPC contractor progress, quality, safety, and execution against project requirements.
  • Review P&IDs, construction drawings, mechanical work packages, and installation specifications.
  • Spot potential welding, testing, installation, and quality issues before they affect project milestones.
  • Compare actual field progress against P6 schedules and contractor-reported completion.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Construction, and Operations to resolve field issues.
  • Support mechanical completion, punch lists, commissioning readiness, and system turnover.

Here’s what makes this opportunity worth a conversation:

  • $75–$80/hour, with approximately 50 hours per week and additional flexibility for project needs.
  • $800/week per diem, paid weekly, plus mobilization/demobilization mileage reimbursement.
  • Long-term project opportunity, with potential work extending through 2029.
  • An Owner’s Representative position where you’re overseeing contractor execution, not running their crews.
  • Exposure to major power-generation construction and startup activities.

You’ll fit right in if you’ve spent 10+ years in heavy industrial mechanical construction, understand piping and equipment installation, and have experience overseeing EPC contractors on behalf of an Owner. You can read a P6 schedule, communicate with contractor supervision, and document what’s actually happening in the field.

Most importantly, you know how to protect the Owner’s interests without turning every field issue into a confrontation.

Interested in hearing more about the project? Reach out. We’ll walk you through the scope, schedule, and what the Owner needs from this role before you decide whether it’s worth pursuing.
