Every Pipeline Has a History. Help Make Sure Its Records Can Prove It.

Per Sé Group is seeking an MAOP Records Research & Reconfirmation Specialist to support pipeline safety and regulatory compliance initiatives for a leading energy infrastructure organization in Houston, TX.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands the importance of accurate, traceable records and wants to play a meaningful role in pipeline integrity and operational safety.
The Challenge
Pipeline safety depends on reliable documentation. You’ll help establish and validate Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) by researching historical records, evaluating their completeness, and identifying information gaps that require further action.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Researching strength test, material, survey, and historical pipeline records across multiple document repositories.
-
Evaluating records for Traceable, Verifiable, and Complete (TVC) status.
-
Matching technical documentation to the correct pipeline assets and locations.
-
Identifying missing or inaccurate records and initiating GIS data corrections.
-
Organizing and archiving TVC evaluation packages.
-
Developing and updating MAOP Reconfirmation work scopes.
-
Collaborating with Pipeline Safety, Engineering, GIS, Records Management, and Project Execution teams.
What You’ll Bring
-
Experience researching and evaluating engineering, construction, operational, or regulatory records.
-
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess technical documentation for accuracy, applicability, and completeness.
-
Experience with electronic document management systems, databases, and records repositories.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
-
Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
Especially valuable: Experience with pipeline integrity, MAOP, pressure testing, material traceability, GIS/linear referencing, PHMSA regulations, or records systems such as ARAS, Aconex, and RIM.
