Warehouse Technician / Driver – Industrial Tools & Equipment
Location: Punxsutawney, PA
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Opportunity: Long-Term Position with Potential for Full-Time Employment
More Than a Warehouse Job. Be the Person Who Keeps Industrial Projects Moving.
Are you mechanically inclined, organized, and comfortable working with tools and equipment? Do you enjoy a hands-on role that combines warehouse responsibilities with getting out on the road to support industrial projects?
Per Sé Group is seeking a dependable Warehouse Technician / Driver to support Plant Services Group’s industrial field operations in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with an established industrial services company. The goal is to identify an individual who wants to grow into a permanent, full-time position.
The Challenge
You’ll play an important role in keeping industrial maintenance and outage projects supplied with the tools and equipment they need. Working closely with project managers, skilled tradespeople, vendors, and subcontractors, you’ll help ensure that equipment is ready, available, and delivered where it’s needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Delivering and retrieving tools, equipment, and materials from customer sites to support planned and emergency industrial work.
-
Receiving, organizing, inventorying, and maintaining tools and equipment at the warehouse.
-
Inspecting tools and performing basic repairs or coordinating repairs as needed.
-
Preparing tools, equipment, and materials for upcoming projects and field assignments.
-
Working with vendors and suppliers to obtain tools, equipment, and supplies.
-
Loading, unloading, and safely handling tools and materials.
-
Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
-
Communicating with project managers, field employees, vendors, and contractors to support daily operational needs.
Driving and deliveries are an essential part of this position, and the successful candidate must be comfortable traveling to customer locations as business needs require.
What You Bring
-
A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain or maintain a DOT Medical Card.
-
Relevant experience in warehouse operations, equipment handling, delivery, industrial services, construction, or a similar hands-on role—or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
-
A dependable work ethic, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees, vendors, and contractors.
-
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
-
Willingness to perform both warehouse duties and driving assignments as needed.
Especially valuable: Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with construction or industrial tools, basic equipment repair experience, inventory management, and previous delivery or industrial warehouse experience.
