You know the difference between managing a project and just reporting on one.

If you’re the person who catches budget problems before they become overruns, keeps engineering and construction moving together, and knows exactly where every project stands, this opportunity deserves a conversation.

Per Sé Group is looking for a Project Manager to support electric utility infrastructure and reliability improvement projects in Oklahoma City. You’ll manage multiple capital projects ranging from $150K to $5M, with real ownership of schedules, budgets, coordination, and delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own multiple electric utility projects from initial planning through execution and closeout.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, milestones, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and outside contractors.
  • Track expenditures, manage scope changes, and catch potential overruns early.
  • Keep materials, resources, and project dependencies aligned with execution schedules.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and financial performance to stakeholders.
  • Drive projects forward without needing direct authority over every team involved.

What makes this opportunity worth exploring:

  • $60–$70/hour, depending on experience.
  • 40-hour workweek, generally 7 AM–4 PM.
  • Primarily onsite, with up to 2 remote days per week possible after onboarding and approval.
  • Exposure to distribution, transmission, substations, controls, and utility reliability projects.
  • Contract assignment with an anticipated duration of approximately one year.
  • Limited local travel, with approved business mileage reimbursed.

Who you are:

You’re an organized, hands-on Project Manager who knows how to own a budget, maintain a schedule, and keep several moving pieces under control.

You’ve managed technical, infrastructure, or construction-related projects with direct responsibility for financials, reporting, and deliverables. You’re comfortable with Excel, project documentation, and coordinating teams that don’t necessarily report to you.

Electric utility experience is valuable. A PMP or SAP background is a plus, but neither is required. Relevant education and experience combinations will be considered, including substantial experience in place of a degree.

Curious what projects you’d be managing? Reach out. We’ll walk you through the scope, team, and expectations before you decide whether it’s worth pursuing.
