.

You’re not walking into a plant to chase the same maintenance calls every day.

You’re helping install and bring a bakery manufacturing line online in Bessemer, Alabama—from layout and conduit through cable runs, terminations, power-up, and testing. If you like seeing an industrial electrical project go from drawings to a working system, this is the kind of job where you’ll see the whole thing take shape.

What you’ll do

  • Lay out electrical work and mark installation locations from drawings
  • Install conduit, cable tray, and electrical wiring
  • Run and terminate cables throughout the bakery line
  • Perform motor terminations and panel wiring
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Assist with equipment power-up and testing as the installation comes together
  • Work safely within the facility’s badging and site requirements

What you get

You’ll work day shift only, Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus a half day Saturday—about 55 hours per week.

The pay is $30–$34/hour, giving you the opportunity to put in a strong project push over a defined assignment. The current project runs through approximately September 22.

And there’s a tangible finish line: you’ll be part of taking a major piece of manufacturing equipment from installation to power-up rather than simply maintaining something that’s been running for years.

Who you are

You’re an industrial electrician who knows your way around a manufacturing environment. You can read electrical schematics, work with conduit and cable tray, make motor terminations, and handle panel wiring without needing someone standing over you.

You’ll need OSHA 10, Forklift and Boom Lift certification, and the flexibility to work the project’s schedule. You also need to be comfortable with the possibility of project intermissions and travel flexibility if the work requires it.
