You know the difference between a legitimate field change and an EPC contractor trying to rewrite the scope.
Here’s your opportunity to put that experience to work on a major utility-scale solar project in Indiana, Pennsylvania, where you’ll represent the Owner, protect project interests, and have real authority in the field.
This isn’t a position where you sit in meetings waiting for updates. You’ll be the person making sure the work gets done right.
What you’ll do:
- Lead owner-side construction oversight across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes on a major solar project.
- Hold EPC contractors accountable for contract requirements, schedules, quality, and performance.
- Review RFIs, change orders, and field modifications, challenging unsupported claims before they become costly problems.
- Walk the site, identify deficiencies early, and drive NCRs and corrective actions through resolution.
- Oversee earthwork, drainage, foundations, racking, module installation, underground electrical, and collection systems.
- Track construction progress, anticipate schedule risks, and coordinate solutions with project leadership.
- Maintain accurate field documentation that protects the Owner and keeps decisions grounded in facts.
What you get:
- $70–$80/hour, depending on experience.
- $950/week per diem, paid weekly.
- Long-term project opportunity, with an anticipated assignment through December 2028.
- Company-provided truck and laptop.
- Mobilization reimbursement at the standard IRS mileage rate and demobilization reimbursement upon successful completion.
- A lean project team where your experience and judgment will make a direct impact.
The position is site-based, approximately 50 hours per week, with occasional Saturday coverage depending on construction activities.
Who you are:
You’ve managed construction on large utility-scale solar projects and know how to handle EPC contractors without losing control of the schedule, budget, or quality.
You understand construction contracts, change-order exposure, NCRs, and the importance of documenting issues before they become disputes.
You’re comfortable running a site independently, making tough calls, and knowing when to bring in technical support.
Interested in taking ownership of a major solar project? Let’s talk about the site, the contractor, and what makes this opportunity different. No commitment needed to get the details.
