Summary
 Per Sé Group is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Planner for a one-year contract at our client’s petrochemical refinery in the Greater Toledo Area of Ohio. As an Electrical Maintenance Planner at this refinery, you will work with a high-performance, diverse, and hard-working team. We are looking for an experienced planning professional that will be responsible for reviewing, estimating, purchasing, and documenting all work requests, including requests for labor, tools, materials and equipment. The Electrical Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning maintenance work, with a typical schedule of 40-45 hours per week. This position offers per diem and reimbursement for mobilization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage work requests received from and authorized by maintenance service users.
  • Coordinate all details relating to completion of work request-Work Scope, Labor, Tools, Material and Equipment. (This includes management of work order reporting by the tracking and recording of all cost associated with specific work orders.)
  • Plan, estimate costs and request the staff, material, and equipment necessary for approval of work requests.
  • Ensure work plans follow safety practices, procedures, and company policy. Actively participate in monthly safety meetings.
  • Manage maintenance records essential for the planning and scheduling department.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with maintenance supervisors, operations and purchasing departments in a proactive manner.
  • Assist the scheduling team in organizing and communicating plans on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Maintain an efficient work environment that promotes employee participation and develops leadership skills.
  • Provide back up coverage for the electrical supervisor.

Preferred Skills & Expertise
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology preferred.
  • Journeyman Certification, NEC Working Knowledge preferred.
  • At least 5 years of electrical field experience, including troubleshooting and repair, and minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling maintenance work.
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience in electrical repairs.
  • Previous experience in ordering material and services, preparing and evaluating bid packages and developing contracts with suppliers/vendors.
  • General knowledge of all refinery maintenance practices, and knowledge in and experience with safe work practices in an oil refinery environment accompanied by a superior safety attitude.
  • Ability to develop scope and plans for preventive maintenance work. This includes above average skills in planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Experience with SAP or other business enterprise software.
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills sufficient to convey both factual and conceptual information requiring detailed explanation and interpretation to staff, professional and business groups. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership orientation that includes coaching, development of staff, and guidance of individuals toward goal achievement. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient use of MS Office-MS Project and P6 preferred.
