Summary

Per Se Group is seeking an O&M Technician for our client, a Global Leader in Sustainable Energy Development.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and track the progress, and check the result, of on-site work related to the Operation and Maintenance of solar
  • Sometimes work directly in the field with the O & M third party operator.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of all personnel onsite.
  • Check each plant operation’s status remotely, and report any
  • Confirm the timing of preventive works
  • Maintain relationship with Utilities, EPC contractor, and O&M
  • Maintain relationship with Insurance Companies, Asset Management companies, Officials Entities involved in projects (Health & Safety, Environment Agency, Electrical Agency, …) in the
  • Confirm all operations and specifications are in line with the project’s
  • Write down the minutes of meeting reports and ensure documents’
  • Maintain and follow up the Action Point
  • Enforce quality and environmental policies, manage any complaints or claims from customers.
  • Process indicators’ follow-up.
  • Detect and register the deficiencies that may occur at commissioning of O &M plants.
  • Document the al plant non conformities, by reporting to the Regional Manager

 

Preferred Skills and Expertise

 

  • Industry experience or an Associate Degree education, preferably, a degree or licensed Electrician.
  • Other valuable courses: degree in renewable energy sources especially oriented to the photovoltaic solar energy, communications and computer, risk prevention training, environmental management training.
  • Languages: Computer systems user (MS Office), program design (Autocad), SCADA
  • Academic skills in environmental
  • Academic skills in emergency plans applicable to position and
  • Troubleshoot DC and AC electrical systems.
  • Above average knowledge of how power plants and solar plants operate.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical tracker systems
  • Certification in Substation Maintenance is a plus.
