Per Sé Group is hiring a Rotating Equipment Engineer for a project opportunity with our client in Texas. This client is an integrated energy company with operations in the US, Canada, and the Asia Pacific region.? Downstream operations include upgrading, refining, and marketing operations here in the US.??As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring project completion & functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute all Commissioning Activities for the project.
- Respond to sign site queries as much as possible in a timely fashion & verify closure with the engineer on record.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders for Main Power, Gas Compression, Rotating Equipment, Diesel Engines and Water Injection systems.
- Prepare & revise operating procedures and other technical documents for assigned systems.
- Participate in monitoring operation of major rotating equipment systems to maximize uptime.
- Provide weekly updates to line manager.
- Data for input into Hexagon Smart Completions to log any deficiencies to be corrected.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Operations and/or Rotating Equipment support role with solid understanding of management of change.
- Prior Construction and Commissioning Experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of ASME and API codes & standards with strong knowledge of Rotating Equipment-including Power Generators, Gas Compressors, Pumps, Engines, etc.
- Working knowledge of Smart Completions software from Hexagon is preferable.
- Able to read and understand P&IDs, PFDs, ISOs, and technical specifications.
- Able to understand and use CMS databases, preferably Hexagon.
