As a Senior Project Manager with Per Se Group, you will be well compensated and work with an outstanding team on a unique gas conversion project in California. This is a critical, large capital project which will bring enhanced black start capability to a major energy facility. The anticipated duration is approximately 18 months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective project management processes and control mechanisms to ensure effective delivery and completion of projects
- Facilitate and/or lead effective pre-project planning meetings, daily project monitoring, weekly project reviews, timely mobilization and demobilization, and project close out meetings and related activities
- Plan project steps, milestones, labor requirements, supply, equipment and material needs
- Ensure that operational and safety procedures are implemented and followed, in collaboration with Field Safety Coordinator
- Review and approve Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and take corrective actions
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors
Preferred Skills and Expertise
- 5+ years of experience working in power generation construction
- 10-15 years experience in a Project Management role
- Must have strong two-way communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and be a strong team player
- Excellent attention to detail, great organizational skills, and possess the ability to work independently
- Solid project financial skills and general business acumen
