Summary
Our client currently has an opening for a Contract Administrator! This role involves administering key commercial documents/tools (i.e. COs, SIs and Logs) associated with the Topsides Fabrication contract. Negotiation and resolution of commercial matters out of scope from the onset but could become in-scope given candidate’s interest and skillset. Individuals enjoying fast-paced, multifunctional work with minimal direction are best suited for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial team in protecting Cenovus’ interests and ensuring SCM process is fully auditable
  • Interface with key stakeholders
  • Produce executed Change Orders (COs), closed-out Site Instructions (SIs) and Time and Material (T&M) logs
  • Reporting of SCM metrics
  • Recording/Issuing minutes of commercial meetings
  • Decision making

Preferred Skills and Expertise

  • Understanding of Oil and Gas projects, administrative deadlines, and drafts for execution of contracts
  • 5+ years of contract administration/management related experience required
  • Business degree or technical diploma required
  • Undergraduate in engineering or business an asset
  • Experience in working in a project environment an asset
  • Experience in negotiating and resolving commercial matters an asset
  • Experience in running RFx process an asset
  • Experience directly applicable to the position
  • Working in cross-functional team (HSE, Quality, Technical, Project Services) an asset
