Here with Per Se Group our client is requesting assistance with finding a Heavy Equipment Operator. A qualified operator must demonstrate the ability to operate heavy industrial equipment, such as terminal wheel loaders (small and 988), material handler, and skid steer.
Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired or track, tractor-type vehicles equipped with hydraulically powered bucket, scoop, blade, or other attachment, to scoop, lift, move, or transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks or trucks or railcars.
Operates equipment to make excavations, grade road surfaces, dig ditches, lay pipes, stockpile, and repair washouts. Loads and hauls excavated soil, rock, and trash. Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, moves levers, pushes buttons, throws switches, and turns steering wheel to operate equipment. Drives equipment to work site. Performs routine maintenance on heavy equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Operates related equipment associated with jobs. Assists work teams when not operating equipment.
