Per Sé Group is hiring a Construction Quality Control Manager for a long-term contract with our electric utility client in Oklahoma City.   

Responsibilities
•            Identifies the quality system requirements to be imposed on suppliers and contractors.
•            Develops and manages Vendor and Site Quality Audit Program regarding the Contractor / Supplier Quality Program to ensure compliance to Contract Quality requirements.
•            Performs scheduled and unscheduled supplier inspections, and/or assessments.
•            Reviews contractors and supplier's Quality Manual, inspection, testing, welding, and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures, and quality records.
•            Reviews Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and to assure owner inspection requirements are included.
•            Gathers data and monitors the effectiveness of the project’s quality system performance through quality audits, and inspection activities.
•            Coordinates with site construction leads performing surveillances of the contractors’ Quality Program to ensure adherence to project procedures and effectiveness of the contractor’s Quality Program.
•            Identifies high risk / key quality affected activities and assure risk mitigation plans are established and progress is tracked through completion.
•            Monitor and trend project non-conformances and initiate and manage corrective actions as required.
•            Participates in system walk downs and reviews punch lists for quality related items for completeness and accuracy. 
•            Monitor suppliers and their sub-contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
•            Assist in resolution of supplier quality problems as appropriate.
•            Review Supplier Quality Assurance Programs, Plans, and Procedures.
•            Review and trend Supplier NCRs.
•            Initiate and trend Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for identified nonconformities.
•            Monitor contractor and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
•            Develop and implement a Site Quality Audit Program to ensure the elements of the UTS and Contractor’s Quality Plan are implemented effectively.
•            Assist in resolution of site quality problems as appropriate.
•            Review Contractor Quality Programs, Plans, and Procedures.
•            Review and trend Site NCRs
•            Initiate and trend Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for identified nonconformities.
Desired Skills and Expertise
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in power generation capital construction projects.
  • Experience working projects with 7FA Turbines or GE LM6000 Turbines
  • Current OSHA 30; First Aid/CPR; and USACE Construction Quality Control Management certifications.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal); and ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Procore.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field from an accredited university preferred.
