Summary
Per Se Group has a great opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager for a contract opportunity in Texas. The Construction Manager works collaboratively with internal staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure construction projects stay on time & within budget with strong adherence to safety & quality standards. Prior experience with utility scale wind & solar construction projects required.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure construction complies with scope of work, industry standards, applicable laws, and permits.
  • Supervise on-site activities, managing safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Enforce adherence to housekeeping requirements, work rules, labor productivity, and material handling.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings, help develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal staff, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
  • Identify and address project-related challenges impacting timelines or quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure contractor documentation meets EPC Agreement requirements.

Preferred Skills and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.
  • 3-5 Years Experience with Utility Solar Energy or Utility Wind Energy Projects including preconstruction bidding & negotiations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide onsite personnel.
  • Experience leading complex internal / external teams, building consensus and driving project and corporate initiatives.
